Tasted like they boiled them in butter! And the perfect amount of salt. You didn’t have to add anything to these. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten grits in my life that I didn’t have to add butter to. There was a smear of grits on my plate because before I could take the picture, my dining partner slapped some on my plate saying I had to try them. Speaking of those grits, they deserve a paragraph to themselves. And the potatoes aren’t crisp, but they are seasoned well with a great flavor. Very good crabby flavor throughout and a decent amount of seafood in it. My omelet was very good! Ignore the smear of grits on the plate. My dining partner said the veggie sandwich was good, but nothing extraordinary. My dining partner ordered the Veggie Sandwich with grits, and I got the Under the Sea Omelet with roasted potatoes. Being lunch time, when we were done, we over to see if they had a table available. Today I had to come into the CBD to take care of some business. And I get very grumpy when I’m hungry, so waiting was out of the question! But I knew one day I’d get back here. I’ve mentioned before that I’m not a very patient person. When we arrived, there was a line out the door and down the block. January 22nd of this year we decided to come in. I checked out the menu online, liked what I saw, and put it on my ever-growing list of places I wanted to try. I first heard about this place last year.
